Project: Hotel Michelangelo
Project Brief: This project was a result of another referral by a valuable client of IQuadrant Interactive. Upon consultation with Arch. Gaetano P. Vitrano, the secretary-general Associazione Italiani nelle Filippine, Mr. Alberto Altigondo, the owner of Hotel Michelangelo, contacted IQuadrant Interactive to produce for the hotel a website. The hotel was in December 2006 in the beautiful island of Busuanga. It strives to provide the best accommodation to local and foreign tourists and travelers visiting the island paradise.
The Challenge: Being just a new hotel in the island, the challenges that the website has to hurdle are: to aggressively market the hotel and its services, to generate substantial online inquiries and reservations and turn them into revenues, and to position the hotel into a by-word in the tourism industry in Palawan and specifically in the Calamian Group of Islands.
The Results: Since it became online in September 2007, the website has been enjoying brisk business as it boosted the frequencies of inquiries and hotel reservations. Search engines such as Yahoo! and Google have placed Hotel Michelangelo in several top 10 results.
